Stress is one of those things that can work in good and bad ways within people.  It is the way we respond psychologically and physiologically to events in our life, the way our body’s defenses kick into gear.  Stress and anxiety symptoms also go hand in hand: the pounding in the chest, the tense muscles, the fast breathing.  These stress and anxiety symptoms are known as the ‘fight-or-flight’ response.
